This one pushed us hard. Client wanted net-zero but didn't wanna sacrifice the open concept they loved. Triple-glazed everything, airtight envelope that tested at 0.4 ACH50. Still gets natural light flooding in like nobody's business.

Tech startup wanted something that didn't scream "corporate prison." We gave 'em biophilic design, adaptive reuse of a 1920s warehouse, plus rooftop solar that actually makes sense financially.

Mixed-use development that actually keeps the neighborhood's character intact. Fought for more green space than the zoning required because, honestly, people need places to breathe. Still working with the community on this one.

Four laneway houses that prove small doesn't mean cramped. Each one's got its own personality, solar-ready roofs, and we managed to keep mature trees that were there before us. That's the win right there.

1880s warehouse that'd seen better days. Kept the original brick and timber beams, added geothermal heating that doesn't mess with the historic fabric. Heritage Toronto actually smiled when they inspected it.

Hybrid space that works for morning coffee runs and afternoon laptop sessions. Reclaimed wood from old Toronto barns, LED everything, acoustics dialed in so you can actually take a call without shouting.

Off-grid cottage that doesn't feel like you're roughing it. Solar array hidden on the roof, rainwater collection, and a design that frames lake views from literally every room. Client says they forget it's not connected to the grid.

Public space redesign that turned a sad parking lot into something people actually wanna hang out in. Native plantings, permeable paving, seating that works for everyone from kids to seniors. Saw a proposal wedding there last month.

Waterfront spot where the architecture gets out of the way and lets the lake do the talking. Floor-to-ceiling glass that opens completely in summer, locally-sourced materials throughout. Chef says the kitchen flow's the best he's worked with.

1890s home that needed serious love. Restored original plaster moldings, upgraded to modern building envelope standards without touching the exterior character. It's possible to have central air and heritage designation - we proved it.
